1. Commitment to Child Safeguarding

Diara Charitable Trust is deeply committed to protecting the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every child engaged in or benefiting from our educational, relief, and community programs.

2. Core Safeguarding Principles

• Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Zero tolerance for child exploitation, physical abuse, neglect, psychological harm, or discrimination of any kind.
• Dignity in Imagery: Photographs of children are published solely with lawful parental/guardian consent and in a manner that preserves their dignity and self-respect. Exploitative, demeaning, or sensationalized imagery is strictly prohibited.
• Staff and Volunteer Accountability: All representatives, field staff, and volunteers interacting with children undergo screening and are bound by our safeguarding code of conduct.
• Reporting Channel: Any suspected safeguarding concern may be reported immediately and confidentially to hello@dctind.org for prompt trustee review.
