In the low-lying riverine tracts (diara areas) along the Ganges, Kosi, and Gandak in Bihar, recurring annual monsoon floods submerge villages, wash away livelihoods, and displace families. Diara Charitable Trust was established to be on the ground when crisis strikes.
Our disaster and flood relief response emphasizes timely emergency humanitarian assistance: distribution of dry rations, clean drinking water packets, emergency shelter tarpaulins, mobile medical first aid, and structured post-flood rehabilitation support to rebuild homes and restore family self-sufficiency.
